I am Cody Turk. I shoot video for a living and run AI on a computer in my house near Anita, Iowa. No cloud subscription. No monthly fee. Just a machine in a room doing the kind of work people pay twenty bucks a month for.

This site is where I write about that. Honest tech, running AI locally, what rural Iowa actually does with it, and the work I make for clients and for fun. Some of it is field research, some of it is shop talk, none of it is hype. If you subscribe you get an email when something new goes up. Free posts stay free. Some of the deeper research briefs will be paid down the road.

About me

Most of my paid work is video production and commercial content for businesses. About 15 percent is social. The other thing I do is build a fully self hosted AI stack on consumer hardware, which is what a lot of the writing here is about. I also make AI generated music under the name TRP8, but that lives on its own channels.
