Popular country music artist Ward Davis visits the increasingly popular music and event venue Schafer Barn on the Hill - which is quickly becoming known for its large upside-down tree that hangs from the middle of the barn's roof. The tree is stringed up with lights that almost looks like you're staring up at the stars if the barn is dark enough.
To capture the event local Iowa photographer Cody Turk visits the barn to capture the moment.
Ward Davis has had some of his songs recorded by Trace Adkins, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Wade Hayes, Sammy Kershaw, Bucky Covington, Jimmie Van Zant, Buddy Jewel, Carolina Rain, The Roys, and more.
Ward Davis has even co-written a song with his best pal Cody Jinks “I’m Not The Devil”.
A slideshow of the photos were turned into a video for the barn to showcase on their 4K tv that's located in the barn's bar area. It's pretty clever how they turned this tv that is usually used for entertainment, into a tool to help promote or showcase past events.
